The EGI Technical Forum 2012 is the most recent in the series of events that bring together scientists, engineers and IT people from around the world to discuss the distributed computing and storage infrastructures—the grid. The main theme of this year’s Technical Forum will be to reflect on the progress made by the European Grid Infrastructure, supported by the European Commission’s EGI-InSPIRE project to incorporate different types of resources and technologies from across the EGI community to provide a sustainable European e-Infrastructure to meet the needs of international research communities. The forum will cover issues such as resource management, application development and support, cloud infrastructure and security.
The event organisers offer multiple partnership opportunities, covering a range of sponsorship levels. For more information, please consult the partnership prospectus (.pdf).
The EGI Technical Forum is an excellent opportunity to find out who is who in this exciting field and to enhance your organisation’s image and standing within the international distributed computing community.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Prague!
